Idea

Trophy for networking between the economic system and research.

Reproduction in wood of  a mandrel Rieter R780. The original mandrel comes from a former dyeing and textile factory in Lafnitz (Styria, Austria). The wooden mandrel is covered with liquid rubber and corn starch. It is a combination of a madrel and a relay and connects  handcraft, industrialization and a price for research with discernment.

Wood is a important raw material. It is ecological precious and has a wide range of applications.

The combination of  wood, rubber and corn starch joins tactile experience with permanence and fleetingness. The enclosed corn starch is a body care product for the rubber skin of the SpindelStaffel.
